BUSINESS SUCESSION PLANNING
Business Succession allows for business owners to plan who will replace the current owner or management when certain circumstances arise like retirement, death or leaving the company. Maintain relationships with family members, and essential non-family employees, while minimizing income and estate taxes.
ESTATE ADMINISTRATION AND PROBATE
Establishing a living trust that will assume possession of your estate, at the time of your passing will prevent your heirs from going through probate (proving the validity of the trust). Additionally, an owner and beneficiary of a life insurance policy can also be named in the trust, which will exclude the policy from estate taxes.
ELDER LAW & SPECIAL NEEDS PLANNING
When meeting with an attorney, senior citizens are provided with assistance in estate planning and arrangements for prolonged care. An attorney, who is experienced in Elder Law will be able to provide valuable information regarding Medicaid eligibility, or help senior citizens become financially eligible to apply for Medicaid coverage.
